my Garden

~~~
Good Morning...
Welcome to my garden.
~~~
Join me in a quick walk...

~~~
~ the words to my mother's favorite hymn ~
I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
~~~
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
~~~
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
~~~
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
~~~
I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.
~~~
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

Oh Ducky you have such a beautiful garden! I still find the use of 'yard' funny - in the UK a yard is a tiny square of concrete with walls round it, no plants growing. Yours is most certainly a garden :D

KD,

I just had to comment again about your Vincent blog. I loved it, understood, and would hate to think that some selfish egoist would miss the point. I'm glad that hasn't happened on here yet.

As you probably know, I am a gardener, and that being said....let me just say "Thank You" for taking me on a tour of your garden. I am refreshed, yet a little green with envy!!
