(Note: I have posted this Linkin Park video as an illustration of a powerful realization :examine your own heart first. I don't endorse any other vids that may pop up as ads afterwards, etc etc ~ thanks! WHAT I'VE DONE...
Romans 3:22-24
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
In other words: (from “The Message”) ~ But in our time something new has been added. What Moses and the prophets witnessed to all those years has happened. The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we've compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.
So, don’t go blaming everyone or anyone else … don’t blame your parents, your job, Bush, ‘global warming’, 'karma', or your crappy job. Examine your own heart.
ALL have sinned - and yet, God has made a way for ANY of us who receive it.
I stand in awe.
Linkin Park’s newest song has it right - self-examination and accountability is where it begins.
Psalm 6:9
"What I've done” ~ by Linkin Park
In this farewell there's no blood … there's no alibi.
Coz I've drawn regret from the truth of a thousand lies.
So let MERCY come and wash away what I've done!
I face myself to cross-out what I've become!
Erase myself and let go of what I've done!
Put to rest what you've thought of me…
Well I clean this slate with the hands of uncertainty
So let MERCY come and wash away what I've done!
I face myself to cross-out what I've become!
Erase myself and let go of what I've done!
For what I've done …
I start again and whatever pain may come today this ends.
I’m forgiving what I've done.
I face myself to cross-out what I've become.
Erase myself and let go of what I've done.
What I've done… What I've done… Forgiving what I've done.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. ~ Hebrews 4:16
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. ~ I Peter 2:10
It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. ~ Romans 9:16
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. ~ Micah 6:8

Whew! It's about time you updated. Very good video and good message. I know that I'm such a bad sinner and yet I always seem to forget all the time. It's like forgetting your leg fell off and is bleeding all over the place......just not something I should be forgetting!
Thanks for the post!
Your art work is beautiful.
